We also looked at the museum.

Rugby match

We went to a rugby game.  It was the Pretoria Lions against the Cape town Stormers. I was cheering for the home team, Cape Town Stormers.   When we got to the stadium we took our seats and we played some games in the stadium which was fun .

whoops Dad covered Nate's face with his beer

Next, we watched the game. It was a pretty sloppy game until the last ten minutes. The last ten minutes the Lion’s were ahead by one try. Then, Stormers had a penalty kick and made it so the lion’s were just 3 ahead. Then, the Stormers were 5 metres out from the goal post the had a scrum and the got a try at the last second and won. Yay!!!!!!!!

Franschhoek

We went to Franschhoek for a day so my mom and dad can go wine tasting :(. We did some grape juice tasting and played at the parks that were there. It is a beautiful area.  We stayed at a really cool place. It had barns, horses and dogs and there was even a puppy :0.

Cape L'Agulhas

We went to Cape Agulhas. If you don’t know what that is it is were the two oceans, the Indian and Atlantic meet.

It was very cool. When we were there we got to look in the tide pools. We saw lots of fish, sea snails and even a sea urchin.

It was really cool.
Lighthouse

Hermanus

Hermanus is a place where you can see whales. They aren't here right now because the temperature of the water is too cold and the whales didn’t bring any coats :).HAHA Seriously though, they come there in their winter months (our summer) to breed.

See you guys soon
Bye Sammy.
PS. We stopped at ANOTHER winery on the way home.

Lots of wildlife

Spier

We went to Spier.Spier is a winery with grape juice tasting , bird shows, restaurants and much much more. Here is what we did .
First, we got in the car and drove for 45 minutes. Next, we went wine tasting ( grape juice tasting for us) Nate and I had 3 grape juices and tried 3 different chocolates with them. The juices were tasty. I only liked one of the chocolates though.

Then, we went to the eagle encounters. It was super cool. We went to see a bird show with owls, hawks ,eagles and vultures but sadly the show had to end early because one of the vultures had a cut in its wing :(. But it was ok :).

Next, we went to the secretary birds show it was funny cause the birds would stomp on the face snake's head and won't let go !! (don’t worry the snakes weren’t real)

After that, we went into a owl cage and we held owls and one went on my head!! Also, one went on my brothers shoulder and there were two on my Mom .

mom did it!

Then, I went into a eagle cage and I held a eagle !! It was super cool.  I kissed it’s cheek.

Finally, I held a snake it was a red tail boa and it’s tail went up my pants and also won't let go of my leg!!
can you see it's tail at the bottom of my shorts?

It didn't want to let go!

Then, we left after 4 full hours we went home. It was an amazing day.

Boulders Beach to swim with the Penguins

We went back to Boulders Beach to swim with the penguins. It was a really cool and fun experience. I got to see the penguins up close, swim with them and just watch them in their natural habitat.

SOOOOOO COOL!

I swam with the penguins. There was this one penguin that I was swimming with side by side with and then all of a sudden he just zoomed of away from me. We went explored the beach to see more penguins. We saw sooooo many. It was super cool. Finally, we left. I really thought it was amazing.

We have also been visiting lots of beaches and I have been teaching Nate how to play the ukulele.  :)
